EFT was originally developed to reduce the therapy process from months/years down to minutes/hours. As emotional problems faded, both physical health and personal performance improved (often dramatically). As a result, EFT is spreading quickly among the healing community. It is an emotional version of acupressure wherein certain meridian release points are gently stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.

My Retirement…and a Gift to the EFT Community

I will be retiring on January 15, 2010. It has been a magnificent ride and I am thrilled to have joined with you in bringing the EFT gift to the world.  I will keep the EFT website, DVD store, Certification and related items active until my retirement date.  This should give you plenty of time to make any adjustments you deem necessary.

Please know that our website cannot be maintained by or turned over to someone else.  This is because it has my name all over it and thus turning it over, legally speaking, may create unwanted liability for me and my family. Although I am leaving the website open for awhile, it remains subject to copyright protection and is not to be copied and reproduced elsewhere.

Further developments will be announced as they occur.  In the meantime, I'm hoping you will refrain from contacting me directly on this matter.  Our email list has 475,000 subscribers and, as much as I would like to correspond with each of you individually, I can't personally visit with even 0.1% of you.  However, feel free to comment at the end of this blog.  Even though I may not respond to you directly, I will read everything you write.  Your input, as always, is highly valued.

Although I have a strong emotional tug about this decision, it was an obvious thing to do.  For many reasons it was inevitable and has been a long time coming.

Why?…The Challenges:  EFT’s rapid growth has become an administrative nightmare and my ability to handle it was exceeded some time ago.  This is so, despite the high quality help I have received from Tina Craig, Eric Huurre, Dawson Church, CJ Puotinen, Chris Wheeler, Carol Vrtis, Rob Lasch, David Mackay and more volunteers than I can count.  My gratitude to you all.

While it is my nature to try to accommodate all the requests and demands from the EFT Community, the pile of pressures has grown from a manageable hill to an imposing mountain. Just the day to day questions, clarifications, requests and legal issues from the U.S. alone is enough to occupy a staff double our current size. This is multiplied by the many requests for “special exceptions” to our Open Hand Policy to deal with a dizzying array of laws, cultures and languages from different countries.

Also, as should be apparent to most of our seasoned readers, some EFT'ers have been hyping their products in ways that tend to erode the spiritual essence of the EFT movement.  This has resulted in some behind-the-scenes disagreements, deceit and other negative experiences.  At the core, I prefer peace to pugilism and wish to distance myself from these unnecessary "fame and fortune" energies. As you will see below, I'm leaving for higher ground.

Finally, my physicians tell me that I have had a heart attack.  I am unaware of when this happened and have no symptoms.  Nonetheless, the tests show clearly that part of my heart has died.  Accordingly, it is sheer idiocy for me to continue with the pressures of running EFT.  To do so, is to risk another heart attack, stroke, etc.  No thanks.

The Solution:  So, the solution is for me to get out of the way and turn the EFT name over to you.  I have spent 30,000 hours and over $2,000,000 developing our educational stream and thus the message has been clearly displayed for the world to see.  In addition, our EFT Manual has been freely downloaded well over 1 million times (not counting the 20+ translations).

With this in mind, I am contributing ONLY the trademarked names (EFT and Emotional Freedom Techniques) to the public domain so that you can decide for yourselves how best to use them.  Different countries and cultures can establish their own organizations and rules without having to go through me.  However, this does NOT include our DVDs, website, the EFT Manual, books and other materials.  They remain my copyrighted property and are NOT being released to the public domain.

I am fully aware that some will carry the EFT name forward with integrity ... and some will not.  That is part of human nature.  It is up to you to choose your own ethics.  I can no longer be a policeman in this regard.

If you are a serious student and want to learn EFT properly from the source, our DVDs are still available until our existing inventory is exhausted.  I don't know if they will be available after my retirement.  I'm working on it, but no guarantees.

Please know that my position here has always been voluntary.  While there has been some modest profit over time, no one would have taken on this task for the money.  My goal from the start has been to launch EFT into TherapyLand and thus bring its healing benefits to the world in a low cost, easy to understand manner.  With your help, that mission has been accomplished.  Millions of clients have been exposed to EFT and thousands of careers have been launched.  Please accept my gratitude for your superb assistance.  You can carry it forward from here.

Other issues:  If you have an EFT affiliate account, any outstanding balance as of my retirement date will be paid shortly thereafter.

Those who have official EFT Certification through our Certification process will have the only official EFT Certifications ever offered.  These may be quite valuable as you list yourselves on the various listing services out there.  However, if you feel inconvenienced by my retirement and want your Certification fee refunded, please send your original Certificate (not a copy), postmarked on or before December 23, 2009, with a note stating you are abandoning your EFT Certification, to:

EFT

PO Box 269

Coulterville, CA 95311

If you wish to obtain official EFT Certification or continue on to EFTCert II, you must satisfactorily pass your exam prior to my retirement date.

A Parting Gift:  Our full length movie featuring EFT as the answer to our war veterans’ PTSD is in its final stages.  The total budget for this movie approximates $500,000 and it will be a stunning door opener for the whole EFT field.  It will create a major awareness for the public regarding EFT and all EFT’ers will benefit by it. I have given it to my dedicated film director, Eric Huurre.  He will introduce it to the public early next year.

The Future – Where to From Here?    EFT has two important features: (1) What it does and (2) Where it points.  The vast majority of EFT’ers are fascinated by what it does and are forever delivering ooohhs and aaahhs as EFT does its magic.  This is fine.  However, this is nowhere near as important as where it points.

EFT is but the doorstep to a far grander Palace of Possibilities. It is way outside our normal experience and its results cannot be properly explained by medicine or conventional science.  As remarkable as it now seems, EFT is actually a toy that will someday be tossed away as a mere introduction to the exquisite beauty that is our birthright.  It points to a future mental state where disease, war and resentments do not exist. This level cannot be reached, however, by...

  • more tapping points or,
  • the "latest and greatest" options for delivering EFT or,
  • any of the other varied offerings that have found their way onto the EFT scene.

Instead, it will require a new approach, a new way of thinking that may or may not be directly related to EFT.  I will be exploring the upper reaches of this Healing High Rise and have my sights on the Penthouse.  Perhaps we will meet there someday.

Big Hugs, Gary

PS:  I am contemplating a new website and newsletter along the lines of my last paragraph.  Just stay on this list and I will keep you informed.

Sad day.

Glad to know you're ok, Gary - I'll miss you, but understand that your health comes first.

You have given a great gift to the world in the form of EFT.  There very few who have touched so many millions of lives and made them the better for it - better people in better health with very much better futures.

"Thank you" seems so little for all the good you have done, but still, here it is:

Thank you, Gary

Many blessings on you in your retirement.

I am shocked and dismayed for so many reasons.  It feels way too sudden. I had begun  to study to become certified within the year.   But beyond all of that,  I am so grateful for all that you have created and selflessly shared with so many for so long.

Your website has been my anchor for a long time.  I shall miss its content and character.  I referred to it as the "mothership" of EFT to newcomers.

I wish only continued good health for you, Gary;  and selfishly wish there was a way to keep "the doors open"  at the same time.

Thank you for your immeasureable gifts of time, money, creativity, openness, and integrity.

Gary-

I can't even begin to describe how EFT has changed my life.  It resulted in a huge transformation of my life, resulting in leaving the business world to become a full time practitioner.  I now help my clients all over the world make transforming changes- changes that they never thought were possible.

Thank you for giving us this gift of tapping and all of the resources that went along with it.  I'm sorry to hear about your recent health problems.   I wish you good health, happiness and a wonderful retirement - although, I can't picture you "retired".

Best regards,

Wow!  What a shock!  I felt you'd be here forever for us, I guess!  Best wishes to you.  I'm wondering if you've heard of Regenesis.....it's Reiki on steroids, for want of a better phrase!  I had endocarditis twice, a bacterial, staph infection that goes to the heart and makes swiss cheese out of it.  Western medicine said I would have 2-3 valves repaired or replaced.  I also had a hole in my heart from birth that never closed. With Regenesis, which I started before I was introduced to EFT, I didn't have to have open heart surgery, and my heart is nigh back to normal.  The cardiologist at Kaiser said, when I told her what I was doing said, "I knew you had to be doing something because you don't fit into any of our patterns".  Jim Mann, the Master Teacher/healer is in Lafayette.  his website is  www.houseofhealinghands.com  if you'd like to rejuvenate that heart!

Not hearing from you and EFT each week will tug at my heart strings!  Best to you, Pam Powers

That said, I wish to tell you how deeply, deeply grateful I am for this enormous gift you have given the world.  Your dedication in time and energy and money has enabled so very many people to achieve a higher quality of life.  On a personal level I have found a fulfilling way to help others and have felt the lovely, gentle changes called personal peace.

I guess I was expecting it... but I was kinda hoping that you would hand the website and admin over to people who would charge more for it but still never-the-less maintain the enormous rescource of knowledge and experience which the emofree website represents to beginners like myself.

To have a searchable database - as it now is - of experiences of 100s of human healings for thousands of conditions is a very precious thing, Gary. I beg you to at least allow the website to continue - even if not added to or maintained - simply as a rescource to other humans.

I was hoping to get certified, now it looks like I do not have a chance to do all the study needed before the closure date... Sure I can create my own EFT style and teaching methods and I WILL - but having that certificate would have meant a lot to me.

You do not mention what keeping your copyright means, as an author myself I am guessing that you now rescind the free downloads of the instruction book etc...

However this is also valuable information and something which, as future inheritors of your copyright, your family could profit from.

Please - I beg you. At least leave us the website searchable resource available.

All the best for your future health Gary

Bless you for creating what you have made and the magnificent changes it has wrought for me and my loved ones

I have full respect for your communication, your integrity and your selflessness. There hasn't been anyone who has been able to explain and offer EFT scripts better than you have, I and find it very sad that this kind of groundwork and solid passion and foundation is not being respected by others, but as you, I have too much experience to know that this is not inevitable in so many areas.

I want to be able to continue to spread the great and tremendous changes that EFT has to offer and I'm a bit confused as how to do this with integrity if in fact it is only being practiced by those who are not completely in touch with your love for its effect or your founding. I suspect an answer will come at one point, as long as I tap for it. ;-) With much love and thoughts for your health and everlasting legacy.

Dear Gary,

I am happy to hear that you will be retiring if it brings you the peace you prefer. The world owes a debt of gratitude that most of it will never know. For, even if you only touched one person, you changed the future of the world. But, as you know, you and EFT have touched the lives of millions. I know my life is completely transformed due to the path EFT gently placed me on. And it resembles nothing of my past.

I hope that each person who reads of your retirement, will do a surrogate session for you, with the intention of healing all damage to your heart. So that you will be able to enjoy a full and joyful retirement.

And I hope you will consider extending the certification to 90 days for those of us who were beginning. But if not, I still have the skills I have gained over the last four years, with or without it.

Thank you Gary, prayers, hugs, blessings, and peace be yours.

Gary,

this is a shocking surprise, AND I trust you are taking care of your needs.  You have contributed to changing my life completely and that of countless others through me assisting them with EFT.  Alone in the past year I have applied EFT through the death process, dealing with cancer, at-home birth, freeing people of their birth trauma, rites of passage from boy to manhood, paralyzing anxiety and panic attacks, PTSD, and helping a patient come out of a coma.  I believe in miracles since then, and feel this tool is a passage to miracles being possible in peoples lives.

Mainly, I respect and honor the "open hand policy".  I have barely made any money doing this work, yet it is my passion and privilege.  Last year I applied the open hand policy and trained other fellow practitioners how to lead healing groups in their communities, including in Hawaii, Hamburg, Germany, London, UK, Austin, TX, Los Angeles, CA. Making this available to the public as a support is part of my mission.

This tool has given me so much more insight in healing possibilities, and at the same time, the more I do it, the more mysterious it becomes.

I look forward to your next chapter from the Higher Ground - very exciting and super-health to you on your next, hopefully stress-free, journey!

Sincerely,

love and magic~

Hi Gary,

All I have to say is a really big THANK YOU so much for what you have done so far. EFT changed my life, but not only EFT itself, also your teachings on human emotions.

Your Dvds are the best material, the best course I ever took on understanding human nature and  helping people with a technique that works so often and so deep.

It´s not all about EFT mechanics. This tool without the understanding of the human nature that you give on your material, could do only a limited job. With your sensibility and practical sense  (part of your engineer brain) at the same time, you gave us knowledge to do an unlimited job with EFT.

Your material gave me a major contribution to be a better person, and a good therapist. Three years ago I was changing my career, from an engineer to a full time therapist, and EFT teacher.

Here in Brazil, EFT is spreading. Many lives have been touched and changed by EFT and many more will be.

I'm a your biggest fan!

With all my grattitude, respect, and admiration, I wish you the best,

Andre Lima - Brazil.

Dear Gary,

Wow.  I just don't know what to say.  I was fired this year from a CMH job I'd had for 14 years; rumor was that an administrator in this private non profit was unhappy that I was using EFT with my clients. Despite this, my employer printed my business cards with the EFT-Adv and the posted a new employee profile I had written for myself in late '07 to report on all of the positive results of EFT with my clients.  I passed the EFTCert 1 exam in July.  I was fired in August.  I have over 25 years experience and was so glad to discover EFT in late '06.  I was helping clients to heal in record time and with significant outcomes, so cost effective, which would seem to be a boost during these strained times with Medicaid.

I will easily commit to using and teaching EFT the way it was designed and developed. My EFT teacher made me learn it by dealing with an issue of my own.  I chose smoking and have never had a craving since.  I am one of the rare professionals who did learn in it in this setting before attending a seminar.  I encourage EVERY therapist to learn it this way because it is too hard to ignore the results.  Unlike medications, and certain other mental health therapy interventions, therapists can fully try EFT to know exactly how it works and how to use it with clients.

Thank you for bringing EFT to the world and thank you for allowing me to continue to use the words 'EFT' and 'Emotional Freedom Techniques.'  I also will not go underground, I will work outside my field if I must, but I am dedicated to bringing EFT to as many people - and pets - as possible.

Will I still be able to access newsletter e-mails?  Would I be able to use the term 'EFT' in a book title for children - crediting the EFT originator?

What a year....Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Dear Gary,

I'm fairly new to EFT, but believe it will become part of my way of helping people create change in their lives.  I'm sorry for your health issues, but in some way, they are leading you to reach for that Penthouse consciousness.

Today I was thinking about EFT and how it can help change the programing of one's emotional reflexes and beliefs.  Then I drifted into the thought of how someone knows they've mastered a foreign language when they begin Dreaming in that language.  I then thought, what if everyone on the planet could learn the 'language' of peace and compassion, and cooperation?  A beautiful dream, and world, that would be!

Best wishes for your future endeavors and dreams come true!

Having been a Minister and caregiver for over forty years, I have never known a healing technique as useful, beneficial and successful as EFT.  It has transformed the way personal healing can be achieved by anyone and everyone who has been introduced to it. For the reasons above, it is my professional opinion that Gary Craig should be nominated for the Noble Peace Prize. I have no idea how this can be put in motion so if there is anyone who does know, anyone who has the connections to start the process, please put the wheels in motion. Who else has made more of a world wide contribution to personal peace than Gary Craig?

Dear Gary,

When I learned EFT my life changed for the better and so did a few people that I introduced to EFT. Unfortunately the ones who really need it are too close-minded to even try. EFT and a link to your site will remain on my website until further notice.

Thank you for being a true angel on earth. I know God is proud of you for all the lives you've touched!

I look forward to seeing you at the "penthouse in the sky" ...

O.M.G. I cannot imagine life without the frequent newsletters. They have kept me on track and showed me so many ways to use EFT. I have saved EVERY newsletter for about a year and I refer to them frequently. If this knowledge base goes away, I feel it will be like having been shown a computer and then returned to a typewriter.

I thoroughly understand your motivation Gary and absolutely believe that your heart comes first and besides you have given so much of yourself for so long that you definitely deserve to put yourself and your family first. However, could you not possibly put that database on a DVD and sell it to us before you retire? Please, please, don't let it be lost, it is too valuable to too many people.

By the way - how many people does anyone know that have suffered a heart attack that seriously damaged the heart but have not suffered any symptoms? That in itself is an EFT miracle to me!

I believe in EFT so much that I think that if we all started tapping for you (I know I will) we not only could repair your heart, but also rejuvenate you by about 20-40 years which would help you carry on your work :-) or do whatever else you missed out on by sharing so much of yourself.

Thank you for your work and dedication

Dearest Gary,

Thank you.  Thank you so much for contributing in such an enormous way to all of us.  Your passion has been such a source of inspiration for me.  I wish you love, peace, joy and of course, vitality.

While reading your retirement announcement, I could feel the pain beneath your words.  I am sure this has already occurred to you, but I'll say it anyway:  I feel that the death of a part of your heart is directly related to your sense of dissapointment and betrayal by various EFT practitioners' approaches and actions with which you disagree.  I hope you can come to a resting place of peace with all that has transpired in recent years within the EFT community.  You deserve this and much, much more!

Love and light to you my dear friend,

Dear Gary,

Thank you a thousand times for the love, generosity, and humour we have all enjoyed on your site and your dvds. Something told me to buy the whole set long before I needed them. I'm so glad I did.

Just wondering whether someone like Dawson Church should look into the possibility that EFT may mask warning symptoms of disease, at what should be done about that, given the hitherto unknown damage to your heart. Then again, there is probably no-one in the world who has experienced so much tapping as you and that may well be the answer.

In any event, the world is a far richer place for having you in it. We all love you dearly and will always be so grateful.

Keep on ever onward and upward,

Can't wait for the new blog,

Gary ~

From the very first time I tried EFT I knew I had found an eminently practical life tool. In the past four years I've taught to it as many clients, friends, and strangers as were willing to learn it.

Saturday Dec. 12th/09 one of these clients called me in a full-blown panic attack asking for help doing EFT over the phone. I saw how seriously this wonderful instrument of healing and self-care had been taken by someone truly in need.

This was just one of several recent, profound experiences helping others with EFT.

Gary you are one of the world's special folks, I admire you for your body of work in Emotional Freedom and all it represents.

Thank you for your website, your courses and DVDs, your certifications, and your consistent diligence in spreading the word, inspiring us, and increasing awareness.

Thank you for your compassion.

Your brilliance on the planet shall continue to light the way - on and on.

Dear Gary,

it is with deep sadness and compassion that I read your announcement. Knowing your dedication to your life's work, establishing EFT and seeing it grow in the way it has, I know that this decision must have been very difficult. EFT is not just a technique: EFT is a movement with all the blessings and challenges that this brings. It has been an honor to follow along on this path, continuously inspired and joyfully learning and growing while seeing EFT become a household word all over the world.

I will be forever grateful for your courage and dedication to pioneer the way healing is seen, to empower and encourage everybody, from children in a cancer ward to US Marines at the frontlines, to help each other heal and live a life of balance and gratitude, while releasing fears, negative beliefs and physical symptoms in so many ways.

Hope has a new meaning since people know how to use EFT. Thank you for all that you have done to help others heal.

Dear Gary,

I echo the voices here in admiring your passion and work in bringing this life changing "universal healing aid" to the world.  I have benefited greatly and will continue to in the years to come.

"A piece of my heart died..." instantly struck me as not just literal...I sensed over the past year with the dust up over the virtual conference that something had irrevocably  changed.  And so your path now moves in a different direction and I join others in saying that I'm looking forward to your sharing of that path, when and if you choose to.

In the meantime I am hoping against hope that indeed certain arrangements can be made so that the teaching tools (DVDs, searchable database) can continue to be sold and accessed.  It seems to me that they stand on their own and will continue to provide an EFT education after you have retired.  After all, you made much of the DVDs merit when advising people to watch them again in preparation for certification (which I was in the middle of preparing for but now looks as if I won't have the opportunity to complete).

Actually, I am kind of puzzled about giving us the name but not continuing to make the materials available.  I would think there are many examples of people who  developed a model that continued to be disseminated and followed after their retirement.

I already miss the newsletter (I started to worry when it didn't arrive for several days), I'll miss your direction, your voice, your vision, your leadership.  I could say more but I'm starting to ramble and should probably start tapping for the loss I'm feeling as well...

Love to you,

While I'm saddened that you feel you must retire this way - I love that you are giving EFT to the public domain. I will always value your original approach as well as how your "core EFT principles" form the bedrock of the best creative EFT work.

Working closely with you this year - exploring our common ground and helping synthesize your "Timeless Principles" document - was a privilege. I'm a better practitioner for having gone through those challenging experiences with you.

I hope you trust that by giving EFT away as you are, the integrity of these techniques will indeed prevail - science will catch up - and EFT will become an emotional awareness and transformation tool everyone will know and value.

peace to you,

As I read your words I believe I could feel the angst in your thoughts/emotions to have written such a good bye. We all felt it too, I believe.

I was so hoping to have attended an EFT workshop with you at the helm but I guess things were too backward here in Indiana to head out this way. I am a transplant from CA and there have been times when I have considered moving back there JUST to have more access to the EFT conferences/workshops.  For selfish reasons I would like you to continue doing what you have been doing for all these many years---to be there for us!  But now it is our turn to be there for you and to offer you our blessings, encouragement and support as you continue in your spiritual journey. I have never met you but I love the man you have been to all of us. I dont think any of us can truely put into words the impact your efforts have made in our lives, each and every one of us. Dearest Gary,

I will have my 10 year anniversary of using EFT in my practice at just about the time of your retirement.

Having a husband who is retiring in June, I wholeheartedly support your decision.

As a sometime student of A Course in Miracles, I say: to have all, give all. You have done this knowing that what you have developed does not belong to you and is just a stepping stone into a greater knowing-ness of ourselves.

I agree that to get caught up in the technical aspect of just healing is not the whole point of EFT in its entirety, at least for me. For it is the clearing of the negative emotion that leads to the personal peace and awareness of the joy of being here on earth, right here, right now. You have embodied this.

Since you are not just a body, and you know this, your body will heal as your mind soars to the Penthouse of the Healing High Rise!

Blessings to you for all you have done and will continue to do.

Peace be with you Brother! There are not enough words to express my gratitude to you for bringing EFT to the world, and into my world in particular! Truly amazing stuff.

Do we need to go to the web site and download all the archives? Or will it be available to some other incarnation?

PS I imagine you will be pulling those arrows out of you butt well into your next lifetime (should you require another).

Thank you Gary !!!!! I was on an administrative hiatus (later completely reinstated) when I had the time to look at the videos three years ago. From the first sessions where you cleared a hx of severe abuse in less than three minutes I was hooked !! I have spent most of my adult life working with those in difficult life situations using hypnotherapy, NLP, Time Line therapy, cognitive behavioral processes, etc. NOTHING had been able to get to the healing in such a time efficient and respectful manner ! NOTHING.

I am deeply in debt to you for your perserverence in playing that front runner role.

I await the veteran's film with great anticipation. I salute you and thank you for my life. Bruce

Hi Gary -

I have been an avid EFT fan since my first experience with it in 2000 when

my son [9 at the time] was experiencing anxiety at night time.  We went

to see a therapist  who taught us EFT in our first session and have all had

great success with it ever since.   I have read all your news letters along the

way and have been so inspired by the stories and evolution of its uses.

I just want to thank you for having shared such a useful and transformational vision. The short-cutting of pain and shifting of new patterns of thought for positive change have been priceless gifts to our family.  My kids who are now 15 and 18 continue to use EFT for everything and anything that shows up that they consider obstacles.  We even help our four-legged friends whenever

the occasion presents itself  :)

Wishing you much joy, peace and love in all your adventures and look forward to sharing stories from the penthouse!

Dearest Gary,

I am deeply saddened to hear of the news of your heart attack and that you will retire.  You have been so incredibly important to so many of us. I can't begin to tell you... and I have to say- your certification course... it changed my life.

I went to seminars, I read everything I could get my hands on, and NOTHING did what just the first level certification did for me. I truly began to get results with EFT on myself and with others after completing it. And I got a real opportunity to learn too when my mother died suddenly and totally unexpectedly almost 2 years ago. I don't think I would have been able to get through it without EFT and your certification course. It made all the difference.

You have changed my life and everyone's life who I touch and then the lives that they touch... the ripple effect is just huge, and I am just one person. Multiply that by the million who have downloaded the free manual. It's just amazing. You are really an inspiration to us all.

Bless you! Be well! Know you are greatly and forever loved. I feel truly sad at the loss of this newsletter, website and YOU as a resource.

All of my love and good wishes to you.

There is of course no way that all you have created could simply fade away. I know first-hand from coordinating the Spanish translation volunteers that there is a tremendous groundswell of positive intention that will keep EFT surging forward, lovingly winning hearts around the world. Many, many willing hands will continue your work toward the day when that future mental state becomes a reality. A toy to be tossed away? Not for a good while yet, I think.

All the best in your retirement.

Dear Gary,

I wish you all the best with your health and your healing, I sincerely mean that.

God Bless You tenfold Gary for sharing your discovery of EFT/accupressure and for helping countless numbers of people worldwide - and beyond their generations even.  Your EFT has helped me, my family and a host of others since app. 1999 when I was first made aware of emofree & tapping by a dear friend who helped me learn how to tap over the phone. He discerned that I needed the knowledge of it to help myself feel better.  He was right. We have shown many people your EFT and seen miraculous results time and time again.

My friend downloaded your EFT manual and mailed all those pages to me to read when I didn't have a computer back then. I copied the manual and gave them out to others, even when they looked at me like I was nuts. I knew I wasn't and that your EFT worked.  The results: miraculous -  they will always continue to be miraculous.

I am wondering what will occur with all the EFT newsletter & archives w/ the testimonials re various illness, issues, etc.  Will they be available somewhere for us to refer to online?  Would love to have that, but if not, that's just fine too. You taught us through your discovery what to do and how to do it.  We will know instinctively and because of your training and long, hard work to get this information to us. I am grateful to you.  I will always be.

*Remember to say the words 'love and gratitude or love plus gratitude' to help heal your heart. My prayer for you is that whatever your desire for the healing of your heart, body & restoration to perfect health be granted to you. Get some much needed rest Gary and enjoy your retirement. Let it all go; stop and smell the roses too. :)

In Love,

Lisa

p.s. I believe I got a tail ender for you from your newsletter. Are you feeling hurt, disgusted or betrayed, angry even that your EFT has been corrupted by the greedy for profit or something similar and / or that the spiritual integrity of it betrayed or used? Oh and yes, angered by the deception? Just my thoughts...

I hope this helps you in some way: my friend that introduced me to your EFT, and myself, have shown it to literally hundreds of people  over the past 10-11 years -  with no thought of receiving monetary compensation, nor did we receive any. We didn't want any either.  We just wanted to help others enjoy better health as we were helped to. We still do this out of a desire to be of service, and to pay it forward.

Thank you so much for your enduring kindness and spirit. I'll tap for your heart and I send you love and gentleness in entering this new phase of your life.

I'm so sad to think that I won't get to see your smiling face in all of the EFT newsletters anymore! I can't begin to imagine all of the legal red tape involved in handing this site over to someone else to run, but I humbly ask you to at least think about it. Without the *source* of EFT, the world loses such a vast resource for information and healing. Dearest Gary

Your work has changed my life! From the first day 14 years ago, when I wept as I read your "Open Letter" in the EFT Manual, right up to this week - when a distraught young mother with a very traumatic past told me our one EFT session had helped her more than any other counselling she had ever received.

I still shamelessly weep with GRATITUDE whenever I speak of you and who you are. Our teacher, our friend, and our inspiration. Your legacy is endless!

You are a Humanitarian in a category of your own! The impact you and EFT have had in the world is immeasureable.

Do you deserve to "retire"? - Absolutely.

Do I think you will ever stop making a difference? - Absolutely not.

You will always be a leader, innovator and creator. I can't wait to see what you come up with when you stop taking care of all of us, the details and the Internet and give your HEART & MIND more time and space to connect with the next dimensions.

Blessings on this next Adventure and Thank You.

No matter that you've "retired"....your Spirit of Loving Kindness and Compassion is with me always.  I am so grateful for how you modeled the Spiritual Business of staying True To Yourself and to the Spirit of EFT.

Perhaps during this next phase of your Wisdom Years as you continue to evolve ever higher on your Spiritual journey with eyes on the Cosmic Palace's Penthouse, you will once again meld with the Divine Bliss of Oneness Consciousness with All, the ultimate high in total awesomeness!

Hi Gary,

Since I retired from the AAMET I have realised what a joy retirement can be.  I hope that it is so for you.  My one piece of advice is to ensure that you are not drawn back in.  It was a mistake I almost made.  Tread your own path, do what you want to do and enjoy your retirment.

You will always have my respect and my thanks for what you have given me and the world.

I remain proud of my 'Founder Master' status and of my Honors Level EFT Certification

Enjoy life and remember I, and thousands of others will always be there for you

Dear Gary

I was quite upset reading your words. I feel emotional about this, as I too believe you were treated badly by the 'fame seekers'... it's seems the world of alternative just went crazy for the limelight - they wanted to say "over here, look at me, I've got a secret and here's what I can do for you... aren't I great." You on the otherhand said "I've learnt this fabulous technique, here it is for you to do the same and take it forward any way you want to." You gave and gave, and unfortunately there are always those that will take and take. I did drop you a line about how I thought you'd been treated unfairly by some of the very people who got on the map by learning from you, and/or aligning themselves with you previously... you kindly took the time to respond to that too.

My father had a heartattack that went undiagnosed, as yours did, until a later point in time. This did create a shock and sadness in our house that he should have been taken to a point of stress (in his case), where he didn't even realise such a serious health matter had come to pass. This actually happened in his 50's and now in his late 60's I'm happy to say all is well and in fact he and my mother have just arrived to spend the Christmas with us.

Your happiness and health is the most important thing and maybe this hiatus will take you to a place on your journey that you want and need to go... that '5th dimensional' penthouse is indeed waiting for you to move in. You should be proud that you have the sense and strength of character to rise above the pettiness and move on to a higher ground - it suits you up there:-)

So Gary, you will be sadly missed in our household and worldwide. I use EFT, my husband uses EFT (possibly more than me) and my 4 year old son too. He actually ran over to me when I said I had a headache the other day and started tapping (in some random places God love him) and saying 'headache'! He gets it... we all do. We are so filled with gratitude that we found you and this blessed gift. It has helped us on inumerable occasions and am sure it will continue to do so.

I would very much like to purchase your DVD's but not sure if I can in time. I do hope you find a way just to have an on-line store, with perhaps a forum where the dedicated can continue to correspond - it has been such a valuable resource.

I could go on for ages but I know your time is in short supply right now, so I'll sign off with thanks and love, and wish you a wonderful Christmas, a peaceful 2010 and a life filled with joy, peace, love and happiness.

Hugs

Dear Gary,

Your generosity has always been miraculous to me. Your cutting edge wisdom and truth-seeking has been a role model. That you took the time to talk with me on the phone, out of your remarkably busy and stressful life, in my pursuit to bring EFT to Marin County, continues to awe me.

I admire and respect your decision of following your heart. I wanted to follow your path of continued certification and further learning and am saddened that is no longer an option, yet I trust it is all good.

There are no words to thank you enough for how EFT through you, has changed me and my clients. It is truly a remarkable gift, however low on the floors of this healing high rise we are on.

I will deeply miss your guidance from the newsletters and knowing more from you, especially the audio interviews you recently added to your newsletters.

If there is something I can do, please let me know.

Always wishing you the very best, and in deep gratitude,

PS If there is a way to reach you, I will inform you of the decision from Marin County. Thank you...

Hi Gary,

Even though you might not feel like it in the moment. . . . you are already in the Penthouse of the Healing High Rise!

We have never met but having watched  and studied your DVD's so many times over the last several years and reading your emails you feel like an old friend to me.  As an EFT'er I completely embrace your enthusiasm, honesty, integrity and most importantly the spirit in which you share the EFT experience.

In my view the measure of a true Master is not what he takes from those that seek his wisdom, experience or knowledge but what he gives.  You are the only true

EFT Master.

I agree with you my friend, the "fame & fortune" energies are very unfortunate.  The sharks will be circling with the news of your retirement!  Thank you for all that you have given up to this moment and all that you will continue to give in the future.

Feeling great was the reward and I wonder how amazingly you are feeling all that greatness in one place as your reward.

Hi Gary,

I was convinced you were going to be there forever with your energy and EFT !

Well, as Tam says maybe retirment is a good thing after all.

As you said in your letter, EFT has enabled practitionners like me to start a second career . And to make this career so successful ! EFT still helps me everyday. I have the intention to thnak you everytime I use it for myself now.

What is wonderful is the way uou made EFT available to the world and I hope that as David Mac Kay wrote that it will still be with your spirit. It is so rare.

I was hoping for a last seminar with you somewhere in the states. I am so glad I went to a few.

Thanks for the wolrd to have you and the way you organised EFT.

I was reluctant to pass the EFT certification for the time I had to spend studying it again. I hope I will have time  during the holiday. I owe that to you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of all my French speaking readers Newsletter and my kids who were my first guinea pigs and who asks for it.

I'm really saddened that you're retiring from that role but grateful beyond measure that you've had the generosity, commitment, dedication and vision to create and spread EFT in the way that you have. EFT is  my number one resource and has been for 5 years now. I have found it amazing and the idea that I have it with me always - for myself or to help another - is one of the best things about it. Dear Gary

First I wish to say, Many Many Blessings to you and your family, Thank you sooo much for all you have done, for what you have made possible for so many and for what you will continue to do with what you have put forth. I am just so sorry that I just recently connected with your work. I wish I would have had the blessing of meeting and learning directly from you.

I just recently received The EFT Course, and have been passionate about learning everything I can with the intent of becoming Certified. I have been a Holistic Practitioner/Massage Therapist for 20 years with great results with what I have done and have always said "If I find anything better, then I will be doing that", well I haven't stopped learning & tapping since I got your DVD's. I still have not finished the full library, but I have watched some over and over and continue on with the ones yet to view.

I hope I will be able to become certified before you retire. I guess I am being a bit selfish here and sad that my desire to have your continued integrity, love, passion and congruent being available to continue to connect with will be changing.

I will have to check into how to become certified, I do not know if I have enough knowledge yet, but I would love to give it a try.

Again, I wish you much love, peace and health. And I honor your ability to know your needs and to listen. Take Great Care

On one fine day... I came across EFT for my own sleep problems and I stunned with the results... I suddenly switched over to EFT and took it as a career shift. My hypnotherapy practice started with the boom. EFT gave a major thrust. I translated EFT Manual into my mother tongue Gujarati, first translation into an INDIAN language, and more than 5000 people have downloaded this manual. You are always there as a mentor and a source of inspiration as well as motivation for me and my team of therapists, more than that, you are now part of our lives. We are always thankful to you for bringing this process to the world.

My very dear Gary

Shock, grief, worry were my first reactions to your announcement. However I was able to overcome those in 5 min by tapping. And then I realized that you have every right to step back and get rid of all this burden of trying to keep EFT on track and protect it from abusers.

You are one of the people I admire the most (and probably  I am not alone) and never doubted about your good intentions to help the world. 10 years into EFT helped me understand this and also improved my life in a way that nothing else did.

So, a big THANK YOU is the least I can say!

I am also one of the people seriously worried about the future of EFT and especially your web site, which has been a source of valuable information and inspiration all these years. It would be of great benefit to the EFT community to leave this alive, or find a way to make it freely available in a document format (for example, a PDF scan of the site).

I believe that the certification process could be also undertaken by interested parties or maybe a new organization that would continue to run it following your advice and spirit.

Your DVDs are the most valuable source of EFT but also help the viewers get into a wonderful mindset, so please try to keep them in production. The world will be grateful to you!

For some reason I have a feeling that this is not the end of your jurney in helping people and that we'll here from you again...

You have all my best wishes for your health and again THANK YOU for your huge contribution to improving the lives of hundreds of thousands of people.

The success of EFT comes out of the open source policy - you shared your experiences and thousands of people shared their experiences touching millions of lifes with hope and relief! Dearest Gary

In truth I have been worrried about you.  When we spoke I sensed the huge struggle this is for you and I sense things were not good, that something wasn't right.  I can't imagine the stress this whole past year has been.  Maybe you really do have a 'broken' heart!

I am glad to have had the opportunity to have expressed myself personally to you how much I appreciate all you have done, but wish to say publicly, that without your efforts and all you have brought, I simply do not know where I or my family would have been.  I am beyond grateful to you.

Please know that I believe the majority will continue forward with integrity and in the UK we are in very good hands with the AAMET.

Well, this comes as a big surprise Gary.

First of all an enormous thank you Gary for simplifying TFT into an easier version (EFT) and having the generosity, courage and integrity to make this available to so many people worldwide.

EFT is by far the best self-development/self-help/self-healing tool I have ever seen. It has helped me heal many things in my life and has enable me to help many others to heal themselves.

Words can only express a small part of the gratitude I have for you and your work.

I think it is a sign of wisdom when a person knows that they have done enough and needs a rest (or retirement) or even a reduction or removal of stressful situation.

The suprise I mentioned above is not that you are retiring, but rather that EFT is going with you.

I really had thought that EFT would continue to grow and evolve (with a central focus point) even beyond your inevitable retirement.

It does seem quite a shame to "let it all die".

However, your health and happiness must come first. And if that means closing up shop, well then, I guess the shop must be closed.

I just wonder if there is a way that you could have nothing to do with EFT and the stress and nightmare that it has become, but rather enjoy your retirement, whilst someone else/some other people carry on the good work that you started.

But regardless of your decision, thank you once again and blessings to you.

Dear Gary,

It is impossible to estimate the value that your EFT has had on the World. Since discovering it myself, I have been trained in not only EFT but have discovered many other wonderful 'alternative' healing modalities and it's all because of your gift of offering EFT.

The Healing community seems to be suffering from a large dose of greed at the moment - everything pointing towards getting rich quick. This makes me sad. My discovery of EFT was to initially help my wife with illness and learning it this way gave me my own integrity. The motives of those learning EFT (or whatever name anyone else gives it) for personal profit will surely have a negative effect on the overall image of this wonderful tool.

I have the utmost respect for everything that you have done for healing in this world. You should be so proud of yourself and so filled with joy thinking about the millions who must be doing EFT worldwide. If I was there now, I'd kneel before you!

Don't forget your own message that you are only limited by your beliefs. Your heart can be renewed from the inside. The dead bit can rejuvenate. Don't forget to be loving and helping yourself!!!!!

Go in peace and joy my friend (we have never met but I take the liberty of calling you my friend). Remember, it's not over until the fat lady sings (and she's probably been tapping and is thin now!).

Much love, John. x

Hi Gary

I've only recently discovered EFT, and I am so glad you and your website were around still for me to discover the wonderful gift you have given us all. I'm just watching my way through all the DVDs - my christmas present to myself this year, and I am so struck by so many topics you have mentioned so far. Cognitive shifts at every moment! For that alone you have given me personally so much help in understanding myself and others that fraction better, and allows me to start my own path to forgiveness and a more balanced attitude to life. Thank you.

I'm so happy that you are moving up to further investigations and interests - it is inevitable for any true artist/researcher/investigator of great calibre to constantly want to push back the frontiers of knowledge and exploration. I look forward to hearing about your new ventures and insights. My very best wishes and affirmations for your continued good health and all my personal encouragement for your new path - keep shining that light for us all, Gary!

Dear Gary!  I´m so sorry to hear about your need of retirement..right now..cause i just met you and your deep concern for humanity, which has led you to do all this tremendous work. I´m speechless of gratitude...

and speechless of sadness..so it is just to tap? :

- even if i have this issue with God i accept myself..

- even if i have this issue with reversed energies i accept my self..

I hope the tapping will release the higher spirit in us. Even if i have been here on the EFT path only a few days, i did think of the next step....how to handle the next step..our minds need further training..tapping combined with spiritual training and spiritual discipline..like the one Robin Sharma presents in his book "The Monk who sold his Ferrari". I met his method only few days before i met yours so for me they seem to be connected and very useful  together.

I wish you all the best.  Be in Peace and Light!

Thank you for your Gift!

Gary,

What you have done is amazing.  I hope, pray and expect your heart heals quickly and completely!

I so appreciate what you've done.  EFT has meant the world to me.  You are absolutely inspiring and have given the world a wonderful gift.

Quick story about how EFT helped me.  I was talking to a woman I had just met at starbucks.  Out of nowhere my right eye started flashing.  I thought I was seeing lightening in my eye (must have been a vien).  Didn't know what to do.  I remembered EFT.  Walked away from the woman and started tapping.  The first round didn't do anything, so I did another and it was gone never to return.

Have other examples.  Getting rid of unwarranted anxiety, assistance in forgiving someone that took advantage of me to the tune $300,000.

By the way, the best healing protocol I found for "incurables" is the incurables program by dr schulze at herbdoc.com.  Funny, the way I mention that, most poeple would probably ignore.  There's a healing magic to wildcrafted herbs and other protocols dr schulze has patients do to heal themselves.

Thank you for your help.

Gary, thank you for creating EFT and putting it out to the public like you have. It's a beautiful legacy.

As creator of a healing process, I know that heavy is the head and sometimes heart of s/he who wears the crown. I'm glad you decided to lay down the burden before it could do more damage. Like others who've commented, my father had several "silent" heart attacks before the "big one". I'm so glad you know about yours, and have the wonderful tool of EFT to use in your healing!

I also appreciate your new direction, as it's the same direction as my company and research. Perhaps you'll get on that high-rise elevator one day and a funny, colorful woman with spiky red hair will enter, and you and I can ride to the top floor together.

That's a thought I'll cherish.  :-D

I am so sad to hear that you will be retiring. It feels like losing a dear friend. For the last few years EFT has brought a new dimension to my life and showed me a way to live that I had never envisaged before. I was spellbound by your DVDs and spent whole days transfixed just watching them.

Since then i have looked beyond at 'a Course in Miracles' 'The Living Matrix' 'The Intention Experiment' and see that huge possibilities are opening up to us which I know will totally transform us coming up to 2012. Gary, you were at the forefront of this tremendous transformation. I thank you for giving me that gift.

I shall be continuing with my intention to take EFT onwards and hope at least to take part i of your certification, now studying like crazy to meet the deadline.

I will be sending you tapping and wellness intention and I am sure I will be joined in this by your many thousands of devoted friends around the globe.

Please keep me up to date with what you are doing if you decide to share. I know it will be honest, ground breaking, thought provoking and shared with love. But most of all I wish you health, peace, contentment, love and joy.

We talk about ego, control and how to let go the past while embracing life's changes. All this is leading to different thought patterns and is perfect and positive in every way. Any money from the group all goes to putting a boy, Hang Hun, through medical school in Phnom Penh Cambodia, he's on his 4th year now and has passed everything asked of him against all the odds, we are the only people helping him.

Well... I guess everything has an end in this world although we aren't usually prepared to deal with the loss of important things in our life.

Funny, I used to think to myself "Oh Gary is only 69, he can make a lot of things and mantain this EFT business at least for more 10 years, and maybe someday I'll make contact with him". That was my wishful thinking and now I feel like someone who looses a father or a guide in his life. But that's one of the bitter beauties of life isn't it? It makes you have to go on your own, and develop for yourself, putting in practice all that you have learned. This is always hard in the beginning, but necessary.

I am an engineer like you, and just began now my part-time EFT practicioner job. I dreamed of doing the EFT Certification exam, and be a successful therapist. But maybe this is a sign that this is the right time to go on my own, with or without a certification. After all it's what you can achieve that most counts and your study guides and DVDs alone will be a major help in this.

I just want to thank you for all you gave in the name of spiritual growth to the human community, you have changed the life of many persons including mine.

And because of that I am and shall always be grateful to you.

For you, a healthy and happy life is what I wish.

I am sure you are doing the right thing; I am lucky you did not retire befor now, though.  Having crashed with ME/CFS last year EFT saved me; it was the most important tool in calming my systems down.  Fortunately there are more and more people out there to know about EFT and its effectiveness.  My kind and wonderful friend Jacky who introduced me to EFT is a capable student of your techique.  Although I havent regained all of my health yet and are struggling at present with  my digestion EFT helps me to stay positive and not to give up.

The best of luck for your future--and I bet your wife and rest of family are happy to see more of you!!!

Dear Gary,

I am so grateful for EFT and all the help your work and life--so far: what's next?--have brought to others. I have been grateful from the start that you make your work freely and so generously available and give so much to it.

You did something with EFT that no one else has yet been able to do with any complementary or alternative healing approach. You created something wonderfully effective, phenomenally simple, and applicable across such a broad expanse of human need--and you made it known and available to millions of people.

I have been reviewing the DVDs with the plan to take the certification exam in the next couple of months. As I've reviewed, I've been impressed again with the lovely simplicity and straightforward honesty of your work. The same is true of the way you thought through EFT, saw that the tapping points could be so simplified, created a wonderfully clear and effective structure for using tapping--hold the frills, hold the hype--and focused on the effective and important things that make tapping work so well.

I have been put off by hype from some EFT practitioners' advertising and have moved away from the "hypeists" and their work. I have deeply appreciated the lack of hype--there's no need for it with EFT--and the honesty and profound and powerful clarity of your work. I have found your EFT policies, and the changes a year or so ago to tidy things up and keep them real and well-managed, to be both liberal and reasonable (even if in conflict with some others' perceived short term interests).

I am very grateful and am looking forward to see what a person with so clear a mind and open a hand as you have will do next. It's true, however, that though I'm interested to see what you'll do, I would rather things stay more the same. So we are.

Many thanks,

Penny

Gary,

To say I feel grateful to you is a tremendous understatement.  You have saved my family and me from untold amounts of suffering and anguish.  I feel hugely indebted to you, and saddened that you are leaving, but comforted to know that you are taking care of yourself.  You are a legacy, and you will always be remembered.  I have no words to say the gratitude I feel!

I ask you to please, please consider keeping the wealth of information on the website available and accessible to all.  I cry (tap, tap) to think that I and others may not be able to avail themselves of the rich offerings of the countless articles and tapping statements.  I, like many others, utilize your articles many, many times a week, to borrow benefits from, to help me through when I get stuck and can't get to a therapist.  Your articles alone have helped me tap through numerous addictions, grief, feelings of inadequacy, shame, anger, fear, panic, and countless other stuck emotions that I couldn't get to on my own.  Online, or in book form, please keep it available to us!

I also ask that you consider extending the deadline for completing the certification.  I know that many of us, including myself, were in the midst of preparing for the exam, and it would be so very, very helpful to have some more time to finish.  I don't want to seem ungrateful to you, after all that you've done, just to put that request out there, for your consideration.

My heart goes out to your heart.  I know I will be doing some surrogate tapping for your health and well-being, and I hope others do, too.  We owe you so much.  With best wishes for your health, blessings, and peace to you, and with a very warm and sad goodbye,

Dearest Gary - As much as I use tapping, on and off, as many of us do, I have always known there was more.  I talk with people that are vegan, those that swear by the raw diet, those that think the whole ball of wax is in tapping or in the "new energies" coming in.  Personally, I believe it is all about consciousness.  If our thoughts are healthy, we will be healthy.  Tall order. How do we stop the monkey mind? That being said, I feel the spirit of who you are and it is good to see.  I, for one, look forward to the new Palace of Possibilities and the journey where it will take us. Your retirement is our loss in terms of thrice weekly injections of inspiriation and encouragement. On the other hand I consider myself so lucky to have been touched by your life and will continue to try to follow your example of how to be a very decent human being, selfless in giving and in service of others.

That which is all things chose well in picking Gary Craig to bring EFT to humanity at this time.  Gary you have done a beautiful job over the years and I can't think of anyone who could have handled it so well.  You created for yourself a success crisis and now you have created freedom, real emotional freedom for yourself and for all of us.  Thank you for this gift and for all you have done.  You are AWESOME.  There are sufficient of us who will keep to the integrity of your work.  True art will always be recognised.

Staring out at a grey Yorkshire sky I can see your sparkling pacific ocean and hear your voice full of excitement and wonder as you explore 'where it points'.  When the Mastering EFT dvd set was filmed your question for me when it was my turn on the panel was about surrogate work and I inwardly went 'oh no' and then gave the best answer I could.  Thank you so much for that question because it is the exploration of how we are all one and how our intention communicates through remote connection that  now fires my curiosity and enthusiasm.  I'm teaching people surrogate work through tapping for animals and the stories and tapping tales that come back to me are astounding and inspiring.  It just gets more and more weird!

You are on the program of our January EFT Gathering here in the UK for a transatlantic tele-conference www.eftevents.com/presenters2010.htm and I appreciate that you will now wish to be released from that commitment.  No problem.  We will use the time to celebrate your gift to us all.

And I so look forward to following you as you lead to 'where it points'

Dear Gary,

I have never met you, until 2006 I didn't even know, that something like EFT existed, and still I am very touched, to hear that you are ending this now. What has especially opened the door for me to this realm of healing has been your special energy, your love and integrity, which has too many features to mention them all. I am very grateful that I was there to benefit - at least a little, and in my limited ways - from this clean source, that I have always perceived you are. You have many times said, as I remember it from the DVDs, that EFT is just a stage of development, and now you are moving on, after you received some strong "messages". I find that such a wise move, and so consistent with the message, that you have put out. No, I am not sad, as I am very aware of the limitations of the time, that we each have available for this lifetime, and the "sandcastle" nature of all structures, that we build on the beach of this life and time and that this moment of now, and the breath coming in and out of us rules, as long as it does. Nothing else.

I am so curious what you are up to next!

Dear Gary,

I am one of the people here that just recently have found and joined the EFT community just looking for self-helping with no ambitions to become a pratctitioner. My teachers in EFT were your manual, the entire information on the remarcable website and some books I found on similar subjects like acupuncture and su jok, energy medicine and psychology... I read a lot and tried by myself EFT constantly on my own emotional issues for the last 2 months and it makes now a remarcable difference how I feel, act and live my life, how I do interact with my family, friends, colleagues, even with unknown people... The EFT for me is that missing part that made sense of all internal work I did for the last 25 years in the area of the spiritual, psychological, emotional, mental knowledge and selfdevelopment. I am still a seaker and probably will be for all my lifetime, but with EFT I finaly feel I am here and now, just where I have to be and everything makes sense now, everything goes on its place and I finaly could put pieces together... Now, with this news, I feel little bit upset, because didn't have enough time to read all, to collect all information and to orientate in the resources available even, I was so in a hurry to try it on everything for the last months... but at the same time I feel so happy that I found you on time and didn't miss this miraculous possibility!

Thank you, my deares Gary, will have you always in my heart!

Dear Gary,

After reading your letter, I was deeply moved.

Ever since I contacted you for the first time in 1998, when my country was devastated by war, I have benefited from the wisdom and knowledge you so openheartedly shared with us.

Thanks tou You, Gary, we managed to help many people here alleviating their traumas, fears, bad memories, angers, guilts, anxieties...the list is endless.

Hundreds of Serbian people learned the basics of EFT and are capable of efficient self help. The biggest 'Thank You' for all that, of course, goes to you Gary. That is your success.

I always considered you as a friend that I never had a chance to meet in person (only on the phone), but one that gave me so much in my life.

Even though I expected this move of yours, I know that your love and focus will stay on us. I believe nothing is really changing except that you will have more time and space for further insights into the Palace Of Possibilities. And that is surely the place where God wishes you to be more from now on, instead of solving administrative and legal issues.

So I am really hoping to learn soon about new insights in the Healing High Rise realm.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Not to mention the wonderful newsletter and thorough presence you bring to whatever you do. Thank you for making these gifts available.

It is so important to take care of yourself. You discovered EFT on your own personal search. I am sure your retirement will take you places you never dreamed as EFT did. My prayer is that this healing continues to grow exponentially over time. That all you have done to heal others is repaid a thousand fold and you see real miracles with your own health.

Like everyone else I thought I had more time with you and find the prospect of not opening my emails and seeing your name dismaying. I have referred many people to your website for help. I will absolutely have to find the money to get the DVDs now, instead of later.

That being said my hat's off to you for recognizing and caring for your personal requirements and your family's requirements. We tend to give so much of ourselves that we don't notice until the weariness sets in that we forgot about us.  God Bless you and your family. I'll look forward to your new website.

I'm sorry that you are leaving. EFT has meant so much to me and mine. I am reading Deepak Chopra's "Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul" and my mind is full of comparisons with EFT. While he has not mentioned EFT (I'm about halfway through the book), he has thoroughly described what must be the science behind it. Imagine me discovering all this at age 78! What might my life have been like had we all known about this since childhood.

Congratulations on your wonderful work. I wish you a peaceful retirement.

I am working on the certification and am desolate to know that it is either finish in a month or don't get the certification. Would you please consider extending the certification for 3 - 6 months for those of us in the process?  It does feel like having the rug pulled out from under me.  Of course you are under no obligation to do this, but I ask you to give this serious consideration.

of business, business and more business. What a pity.I have nothing against making money as we all need some for a decent life but EFT should above all be dedicated

to those who are suffering. It is I beleive you intention from the start and unfortunatly too many are putting it on the road of " First business, then the rest".

I look forward to hearing from you with your next step and I would like to wish you

Thank you for showing such heart-based leadership skills in sharing EFT with the world, Gary.  Your willingness to give a quality education in how to self heal stands out.  You have articulated profound ideas and principles in how to move towards greater peace and harmony.  Yet you balanced this so that your training materials presented the ideas in easy to digest, fun and light-hearted ways.

Your generousness of spirit has empowered millions like myself in finding greater emotional freedom.  You are one of the people I would list on the fingers of one hand to have helped me become a better person.  I thank you for the priceless gift of inner peace you have helped me find.  EFT is the pathway that has allowed me to achieve this.  The knowledge of EFT you have fostered on your website and elsewhere however have been the guiding lights on my path.

There is a void growing inside as I integrate the news of your retirement. You have worked so diligently to bring EFT mainstream for the benefit of all (thank you  thank you  thank you), with integrity and humility and generousity, with a deep sense of compassion for those who need help, and a deep sense of awe in the endless possibilities.

The EFT community will miss your energy and endless effort, and everything that you contribute. Yet it clears up some emotional freedom for you to reach for even higher goals. Who knows, maybe in this place your heart caan be rejuvenated...

And if I tune into that growing void, it actually feels more like expansion than emptiness. May your new direction take you on the best adventure yet!

Many blessings to you, Gary.

Gary - thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you for gifting the world with EFT, it has changed my life and my work and I wonder how on earth I did without it.  It has been a great addition to my psychotherapy and counselling work and fits into the other therapies I practice also.

I understand what you are saying about higher ground though, I feel that healing will become more telepathic rather than hands-on as we evolve further.  I find that remote EFT works as well as physical tapping and that it is a wonderful starting point for telepathic/distance energy healing as a way to scan the energy field remotely and get the energy flowing again.  Who knows where this will lead?  It would be great to see you there some time.

You have been a great role model for leadership in the New Age.

Many, many Blessings for your well deserved retirement.

Dear Gary,

What a sad news! But I completely understand your decision.

Since I got acquainted with EFT in 2002 (and passed my Certificates in due course) it has helped me so much. EFT is a wonderful gift to the world! Thank you so much for developing the technique and giving it to us!

I've always admired and appreciated you very much! You are loving, full of humour, a great entertainer (my son appreciates that very much:-) ) and following your instincts and intuition, while also having started from a scientific base (which makes it even more plausible for those of us who like to have a bit of scientific proof).  And I immediately saw that you are genuinely interested in sharing your knowledge with everyone - the fact that you've given away your dvds  at low costs, with the permission to copy them (which I did for many people, even sending the copies back to the USA from Germany:-) ), convinced me of your honest intentions, when I first heard about EFT!! Because sadly so many people try to make a lot of money out of healing techniques!

You have my deepest respect and admiration! I'm wishing you good health and all the best on your new exciting path (I can't wait to hear of your new experiences). And a wonderful relaxing time with your family and friends.

Take care!

I must join my voice with others to plead for the continuation, in some form, of the incredible resources here. The searchable database of articles, in particular, is an extraordinary part of your legacy that would be terrible to lose. New people are still discovering EFT every day, and are searching for guidance that has always been best found here.  I would be happy to make a donation of time or money - as I know would many others - in order to preserve this invaluable archive.

That said, I repeat my heartfelt thanks, sending you love, and wishing you peace and healing.  You have transformed the world in the most extraordinary way, and given all of us access to miracles.

Dear Gary,

It has been a pleasure to have been part of your very large community. Using your techniques, I have helped many people and given hope and relief where conventional approaches have not delivered the desired results.

I am truly sorry to hear of your health problems, but there comes a time when you have to think of yourself, especially considering the severity of your problem.

' Then catch the moments as they fly,

And use them as you ought, man

Believe me, happiness is shy,

And comes not aye when sought man'

I wish you peace and happiness for the future and trust that your health will improve as you get some much needed rest.

Best wishes....Tom - Ayr, Scotland

Gary,

Thank you for your contribution to my life's work.  Once I found EFT I knew I had to look no further.  I echo the sentiments of others: if possible, can we continue to have access to the thousands of articles on the website?  I look there for help when I am stuck or have a request for help in an area which is not my speciality.

I look forward to any new work you do--website, whatever.  Thank you,

Hi Gary,

Thank you for bringing EFT to the world!

I wish the very best for you in your retirement and hope that you heal your heart and enjoy a very long and happy life.

I have a question that I'm sure other people also have concerning certification. I purchased the DVDs earlier in the year in order to qualify to take the exam. But I will not have worked with 100 clients by January 15, so will not be able to receive the Certification. Is there going to be any kind of alternative plan to give people an opportunity to receive Certification through another avenue?

I am looking forward to receiving updates from the upper floors of the Healing Highrise.

Thanks again for everything you have done! Good luck!

Ditto to all the above and my simple words - but powerfully meant - "THANK YOU" to you, and your heart, for all that you have given to the world to date, through your integrity, generosity and love. Although you say a piece of your heart has died, perhaps instead it is living in the millions of people who have been made lighter by EFT, and still many more who be with all our future tapping.

I look forward excitedly to hearing about your new approaches and new thinking that will now have time to surface with your retirement, as we all evolve to the next levels, whilst at the same time expect that between us all we can afford for your vast library of cases to remain accessible, even if frozen in time?

Big heartfelt HUGS

I am fairly new to EFT so I am especially sadden to hear of your retirement... but I speak selfishly.  This has surely been a difficult decision for you especially since you have given so much from your heart while sharing EFT.  I pray you will find a strong and quiet peace.

Furthermore, thank you, thank you, thank you, Gary.  Your gracious, humble spirit cannot be duplicated and I am grateful for what you have made available to us via your DVD's and website.

Continued blessing, much love and a great big hug, Naomi

Gary,

Thank you so much for all you have generously bestowed to the world.  EFT is a power tool that has enriched my life and the lives of all with whom I have shared it.  You may be interested to know I teach it to heart patients at University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center.

One of the things I've most admired about you, Gary, is your integrity and lack of hype and commercialism.  I hope that beyond your retirement a web-based source of EFT info remains accessible with those qualities.

Wishing you much healing and joy in your retirement.

 Best,

I started five years ago on a google search desperate to help family members who were ill and house bound with allergies, environmental illness, depression, etc...unhelped by the mainstream medical community.  By God's guidance, I stumbled onto the EFT website.  I studied it for myself and then taught them.  Thanks to EFT, we had our first Christmas together last year with ALL the family present in my home, and we were all blessed.  You have been an inspiration in my own work with coaching and hypnosis.  Thank you for this gift to the world.

I have learned more from you than anyone in my entire therapy training.

As I have told you many times, you are "a treasure!"

And I wish you the best in any endeavor you may choose to pursue. No doubt, that will be a gift as well . . .

Hi Gary,

I have just recently discovered EFT and your incredable Mastery of it.

What a sad thing that this site will be now unavalable..,

I am deeply touched by your practice and I'm sorry that you are leaving.

But as all creations go, I'm an artist and that I know to be true, the creator must let go of his creation some day and experiment its independance... It is far from easy to let go of, but necessary to be in the light and to shine forth...

Thank You Gary for who you are,

for this tremendous contribution this world ( it is much needed ), and even though I do not know you personnally, my encounter with EFT has change my ways of relating to myself and others....

I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT!

Peace and joy to you in your new life, Be well in your new surroundings....

Love and Light to you and your family
